anti-embolism stockings act as a thrombo-embolic deterrent for the reclining or bed-confined patient. ideal for use with the post-surgical, home convalescing patient, but designed to meet the demanding standards of a hospital environment. 10-20 mmhg of compression (18mmhg targeted at the ankle). the thigh-length stockings have the same compression profile as the below-knee style, but also feature a generous expansion panel at the upper thigh to help maintain circulation through the femoral area. closedtoe offers a more natural stocking feel, while the open toe design allows for easy toe inspection with bed-confined wearers. latex free.
