0.275 ceus or2.75 contact hours.* this interactive course is presentedin movie format. the “hot” course is designed toprovide education and management of the therapist workingwith burns, emphasizing burns that affect the hand and upperextremity. education is provided on the varying degrees of burninjury; wound care and dressing techniques; management andrehabilitation of contractures as well as the unique role of thetherapist as part of the burn team. note: this course providesconceptual preparation to seek additional training, and doesnot provide you a mentored hands-on skills session. pleaseseek additional experience, with a mentor to perform hands-onskills. instruction methods include: powerpoint, lecture, splintingdemonstration, wound dressing video and lecture. this course isan intermediate level for learning. upon successful completionof the examination (75%) your certificate will be sent via email.
