AliMed® Progressive™ Palm Guard Kit is used to gradually increase MP extension and enlarge the thenar web space in severely contracted hands. Each kit consists of two FREEDOM® Palm Guards and two 5"L MP Extension Rolls (one 3/4" and one 1 -1/8" diameter). Extension Rolls are firm Plastazote® high-density foam cylinders covered with soft, hook-sensitive fabric. They are firm enough to support without stimulating the grasp reflex.
