specifically designed for the one handed or those with limited hand strength. the maddox needs mostly downward pressure and minimal rocking motion to cut. the tall handle keeps hands and fingers safely suspended above the cutting area. the grove notch at the top provides a thumb index centering the hand above the blade for single hand use. in addition, the 41.4" handle provides plenty of surface area for one hand to clasp the sides of the handle and generate cutting force. each comes with a snap-on snap-off nylon sheath for easy, safe storage and portable use. weighs 5.1 oz. overall length is 6 1/4".
